Transfer Week to the Land of the hot sun!

Eish!!!!! It is hooooot here!! We are about 2 hours north west of where I last was so that also adds extra heat which sucks!!! I have been dying but it is good cause we have AC in the car and about 4 fans going at night! But this area is great!!! The people are very humble and very nice to us! basically I went from having 3 investigator lessons with one coming to church to having 11 with 5 coming to church! It is an awesome ward that is really starting to grow! We will see exactly how much growth but we have 2 people with a baptism date and 1 committed to baptism! It is awesome and great not to be trying to find something to do! I hope all the weeks are this good or even better! they should be but you never know!! The new companion is great!! He is Elder Bakes from Yreka California. It is a really small town up in Northern Cali! But yeah he is cool and very willing to serve! He has only been on mission three months so I am follow up training him you could say.  But yeah not to many crazy things happened this week unlike last week so not to much to write about! Hopefully all is well and that you all stay safe!! Love Ya !!!!

Transfers.....Accident....

Well where do I start talking about this week?? Not to much happened on the teaching side. We had a few less active lesson due to getting a list from the Relief Society president as well as a list from the Elders Quorum president! So we did that! We only saw one investigator this week due to people being gone and what not! So now for the fun part....... Transfers....... I am leaving the promised land of Randburg and Sandton and moving about two hours away to a place called Rustenburg. It should be a good move though and much needed! if i stayed any longer here I dont think i would be able to leave. But yeah I am excited! The new companion is from some super small town in very north California so we will see. I think we may get along well. Also this week we got in a car accident. I was driving and I was looking onto on coming traffic while we were going strait and I did not see the brake lights in front of me when my companion yelled STOP!!!! So I slammed on my brakes but it was enough when we went into the back of the other car. Everyone was fine which is the most important part so that is good. But it still kind of sucked so yeah I am not driving anymore for now. But I think that might change very soon so we will see. But yeah really nothing to exciting happened this week just those two fun things. But I am really excited for the transfer and I know it will be good! Sorry for the whole shortness of everything but yeah! I love you all!

General Conference April 2016

Well we are starting the Extra week in the mission due to the Change in the MTC stay from 2 to 3 weeks. Not quite sure if i will stay here or not! I think I will due to my companion having 3 different companions in three transfers. But we will see it is always up in the air. This week was nice! We got to see a few of our investigators and also got a few more! We had a good lesson with Costa on Thursday! We went over a few commandments as well as baptism. We actually tried to get him to agree on baptism but he said he wants to learn more. He is a very intellectual person and needs to know a lot before he makes a big life decision like baptism which is understandable. He attended conference this weekend and had a really good time! He told me on Sunday that he could listen to these guys all day! He didn't want it to stop, and neither did I! It was very inspiring listening this time! I feel like I got so much out of it in such a short time! Lets be honest Holland and Uchtdorf are the best!!! If you do not feel something when Holland speaks something must be wrong with you! We also had another two Investigators at conference. Gainor and a new investigator who's friend brought her. They really enjoyed as well! So that is always good! Matias couldn't make it this week sadly and that just pushes his baptism date back farther. He will be here next Sunday though so that is good! This week we have a lot planned lesson wise with some Potential Investigators that we have times to go see. Yesterday I also finished the Book of Mormon!!! Now it is time to start the New testament! We were also asked to teach the seminary class which we gladly excepted and that will be next Tuesday! It is in the Old Testament so we will see how that goes cause my knowledge of that isn't the best! Well that is it really it for this week! I love you all and hope you have a good week!!!
